India’s two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra has tied the knot with Himani Mor in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends. The news was shared by Neeraj on social media, where he expressed his gratitude and joy with a heartfelt note, stating, "Starting a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after."

Himani Mor, originally from Larsauli, Haryana, attended Little Angels School in Sonipat and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Science in Sports Management and Administration at the McCormack Isenberg School of Management in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Neeraj’s uncle confirmed that the wedding took place two days ago and mentioned that a reception party will be held soon. This marks the second high-profile wedding in Indian sports in recent months, following Olympic medallist PV Sindhu’s wedding in December.

Neeraj Chopra, who became the first Indian to win an Olympic medal in athletics with a gold in the men’s javelin throw at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, also clinched a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics. On the professional front, he is set to bring a Continental Tour Javelin-Only competition to India, further contributing to the growth of the sport.
