Israel Strikes Gaza Amid Ceasefire Talks, Eighth Baby Dies of Cold

Amid ongoing efforts to finalize a ceasefire agreement, Israel continues its intense assault on Gaza. Overnight, Israeli forces targeted northern Gaza City in two separate attacks, killing at least six Palestinians.

Hamas claims it has approved a list of 34 captives, as proposed by Israel, to be released in the first phase of the potential deal. However, Israeli authorities have denied this claim, adding uncertainty to the negotiations.
