Local police officials stated that the blast occurred when fireworks stored inside the house caught fire, triggering a massive explosion. The explosion caused significant structural damage, resulting in the collapse of a section of the building.

Rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene, and ambulances transported the bodies of the deceased and the injured to nearby hospitals.
