Russia has once again offered to supply its latest fifth-generation stealth fighter jets, the Sukhoi Su-57, to its long-time ally, India. This move could significantly enhance India's air force capabilities.

According to international media reports, Russian and Indian officials confirmed this development in New Delhi. The offer comes at a crucial time, as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the United States for a meeting with President Donald Trump.

A spokesperson for Russia’s defense industry stated that if India agrees to the deal, preparations for delivering the fighter jets could begin as early as this year. However, India's Ministry of Defense has not issued any official statement or comment on the offer yet.
